Volunteer in Saguache and Save Big Bucks!
There are many benefits to volunteering in your community, from feeling helpful to getting out and socializing with your neighbors. And now there’s one more reason to give of your time in Saguache Today!
In an effort to encourage folks to share in the stewardship of Saguache Works, they are now offering regular volunteers a 20% discount on both food and thrift store purchases.
Volunteers who help out for at least one 3-hour shift per week at Blue Earth Thrift and the 4th Street Food Store are eligible for the discount. Both morning and afternoon shifts are available, and you have your choice of working up front at the cash register or helping to sort and organize merchandise in the back.

With additional volunteer support, Saguache Works is hoping to expand their hours of operation, keeping the nonprofit stores open until at least 5 p.m. weekdays to accommodate shoppers who work until 4 p.m.
In every way possible, the 4th Street Food Store is there to satisfy your needs for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They welcome community input on their ever-expanding product inventory. What are your needs? Stop in and let us know.
Bulk order are welcome, as well, at cost + 10%. Split a case with a friend or we might be able to split it with you. Order by noon on Sunday for weekly delivery on Thursday mornings.
