Spooky Halloween Times Await in Saguache Today
What a great way to kick off the holiday party season! Tonight October 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. the Saguache County Public Library will celebrate the season with a Halloween Party for the kids.
Families can feast on goodies made by the Friends of the Library afterwards listen to spooky stories from the stacks! Kids will also be able to make Halloween bracelet and mask to take home. At the end the evening the library staff will be awarding prizes for the best costumes in their mini-parade. And the best treat of all will be a book of choice for each child to keep!
On Monday, Oct. 31 the Mountain Valley School Booster Club wil hosts an evening of Halloween Fun in the Saguache Fire Department parking lot. The Hayrack Ride will kick things off from 5 – 6 p.m. The cost is $2 per child.
Afterward kids can attend the family-friendly Annual Trunk or Treat activity where costumed kiddos can go from car trunk to trunk trick-or-treating for all the goodies their sacks can hold!.

The Oasis Restaurant on Highway 285 does photos and treats for all those costumed kiddos on Monday October 31 – stop by for yours!
