This Saturday, March 4 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. there will be an Organic Gardening for the San Luis Valley (SLV) class to be held in Alamosa at the Villa Mall’s Hobby Town Game Room. This program which is sponsored by SLV Local Foods Coalition, SLV Veterans Coalition Valley Food Co-op.
Presented by Paul Niebel who is a Vietnam Veteran with over 30 years of organic gardening and owner of Kirby House Agro, topics covered will include Site selection, soil building, seed selection, planting techniques, sustainability, Long-Term storage, Fertilization, Pest Control, harvesting, seed saving, and water conservation.
A tried-and-true program that REALLY WORKS the course will be offered at only $5. But the even better news is that veterans – young and old – can attend for free thanks to generous support from
